1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using PhotoSolver ("we," "our," or "us"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

PhotoSolver is an AI-powered educational platform that provides step-by-step solutions to academic problems across various subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, and Engineering.

• Image-based problem recognition and analysis
• Detailed step-by-step solutions and explanations
• Multiple subscription tiers with varying features
• Personal progress tracking and history

3. User Accounts and Registration

To access certain features of our service, you must register for an account. When you register for an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

PhotoSolver offers multiple subscription plans:

• Free Plan: 10 questions per month, limited features
• Basic Plan ($9/month): 150 questions per month, 80 follow-ups
• Pro Plan ($15/month): 250 questions per month, 150 follow-ups
• Unlimited Plan ($49/month): Unlimited questions and follow-ups

Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use PhotoSolver only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or violates any rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the service to cheat on exams or violate academic integrity policies
• Share your account credentials with others
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our algorithms
• Use automated tools to access the service beyond normal usage

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The PhotoSolver service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of PhotoSolver and its licensors. The service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You retain ownership of content you upload, but grant us a license to use, store, and process it solely for providing our services.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Service Availability and Modifications

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Academic Integrity

PhotoSolver is designed as a learning tool to help students understand concepts and problem-solving methods. We strongly encourage:

• Using our service to learn and understand concepts
• Following your institution's academic integrity policies
• Using solutions as study guides, not direct submission
• Properly citing any assistance in your academic work

11. Refund Policy

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

• Technical issues preventing service access for more than 7 days
• Cancellation within 7 days of initial subscription (first-time users only)
• Billing errors or unauthorized charges

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the billing date.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination:

• Your access to the service will cease
• Your data may be deleted after 90 days
• You remain responsible for any outstanding fees
• Provisions regarding intellectual property and limitation of liability survive
